BRP Adds Two New Professional Liability Underwriters

After another record year, specialty underwriter and program administrator Business Risk Partners (BRP) has added two new people to its professional liability team: Maggie Mae Kores, CPCU, RPLU, CIC, as senior underwriter for miscellaneous professional liability (MPL) and Michael DiClemente as underwriter for insurance agents.

“BRP has grown at a 20 percent compounded rate over the last four years. All of our growth is organic through our professional, management liability and cyber coverages. We are delighted to add quality, experienced underwriters to help us continue on this path,” said Lisa Doherty, BRP co-founder and CEO.

Kores brings more than a decade of experience to BRP’s MPL program, which serves more than 150 classes of professional services. Most recently, she was program manager at Target Insurance Services, a division of CRC Insurance Services, where she managed books of business nationwide for a wide cross section of professions and industries. Kores is a licensed property & casualty agent and surplus lines broker.

DiClemente brings several years of underwriting experience to BRP’s insurance agents program, which serves wholesale, retail, life and property & casualty agents, managing general agents and program administrators. Most recently he served as an underwriter for three years with Beazley Group in cyber privacy and security. DiClemente began his career with Ascot Underwriting in reinsurance.
