Key Objective:
Provide administrative support to Underwriting Teams for a CT based specialty insurance firm.
Major Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Ability to support multiple underwriters and multiple product lines simultaneously
- Entry of submission into our Submission Tracking System; basic understanding of the products BRP offers
- Maintain service standards by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of underwriting information
- Claims Filing and other administrative tasks with regard to Claims
- Handle special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- College preferred
- Strong computer, communication and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
- Self-starter
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change
